it takes a while for it to show up. especially if its the first time.

03-01-2006, 07:31 PM sorry if the answer to this question is hiding in this forum. lol. ok i met a guy on xbox live (matt gold) and when he tried to play socom online for the first time, the universe wont show up. i walked him thru everything step by step. the connection strength was pretty strong (60% or 70%). when he was close up at his router it read 100% or 90%. even up close, it couldnt find the Socom universe. this happened to me once but later for me it worked. he still cant play online. its been about 11/2 weeks.

03-01-2006, 11:53 PM Heck I just did mine, today and it was quick, I found the SOCOM universe, like BAM! so I have no clue why your friend is having so much trouble.
I know this may seem like a silly question, but is he actually getting online, does he see his network come up before he connects to SOCOM universe ?
Can he browse the NET with his PSP ?
Just wondering, cause it was pretty straight forward for me
