Hello all. Pleased to meet you.
Recently, I bought a Playstation Portable without knowing that it is a newer version, which has not been able to be modified. So, I bought it with a 4 GB Memory Stick Duo.
When, I tried transferring .ISO files to the PSP, I noticed that there was no ISO folder. Wait, don't insult me for being a total noob. I had no clue! So then I tried installing custom firmwares but to no avail.
So today, I went shopping with my family. I saw a PSP stall and asked the dude to modify my PSP. Unfortunately, he said that it could not be modified due the version.
My PSP is a PSP-2006 with an official firmware of 4.01.
Has it been hacked yet so I can play .ISO games? If not, can somebody alert me when it has been done?
Thanks a million!
Firzan

there are some with unhackable mobos, but withen time it should be fixed.also you cant just go to any official psp stall, gamestop etc and ask for them to modify it.theres alot out there that will castrate you for asking such a thing, since some view it as immoral and unjust
sir,im new here.pls. help me,with my new psp 2006 ver4.01.what is the best thing to do,im thinking to swap my new psp 2006v4.01 to other psp wich is modifiable?thaks for the tip!
Can't the lite blue TOOL battery do that?
I think I might of bought the same PSP. I haven't yet been able to 'Pandora-ize' The PSP. I have a "Phat" PSP Battery which is loaded/hacked and ready to go for some reason the PSP won't turn on with the battery inserted not sure if they made them Pandora Proof or not, My PSP was 4.01 Fw When I did buy it and the ver. # Is PSP 2001 PB /98510. My Pandora battery might not be charged.
As for your question from my experience I Don't think (in my opinion) You can use the pandora battery to exploit it since im on the version 2001 which sounds older and yet hasn't been able to even turn on with the battery.
The battery could just be dead? I hear when you hack em they don't hold a charge as good as they normally do..
Just my 0.02$.
