    I backed up my ISO's for faster performance, but what is the best UMD ISO mode? I heard that it is either Sony NP9660 or M33 driver, but what is the difference between the two?

    both are good..Doesnt matter much,i use m33 driver.

    yeah, I think you're right. I've looked up responses on various forums and they all seem to be mixed. Some like M33 and some like Sony's, but overall I think as long as I don't have any problems there is no point in worrying.
