PSP REMOTE PLAY HELP!!! 5.00 m33-4

I currently have 5.00 m33-4 as my firmware.
When I try to connect my PSP to my PS3 to register for remote play, my PS3 will not detect the PSP. MY PS3 has been updated to latest frimware as of 4/4/09.

I tried to format flash1 & reset to factory defaults.
That didn't work.

What can I do?

[edit] - never mind, I'm a moron. Was using the wrong USB cable (using a charging cable plugged into the wall.... DUH!!!)

Ummmmm.... no I don't. Remote Play works fine with 5.00 m33-4. (and some older versions of that firmware as well).

I didn't need to change USB plug-in either. (though I thought I may have).


As I said, I was being dumb. The USB cable I was using when registering the device was plugged directly into a wall charger, and not into my PS3. Once I realized my error, everything worked fine without a hitch.
