Getting back in the game PSP-3001 need modding

Hey guys, havent been here in a long time, i use to own a psp 200 modded it using pandora and mms obviously. sold it a few months ago back in 2008 =/

Recnetly a firned of mine asked me to modify his psp. Before i sold my psp the 3000 was released. and it was not modifyable.

heres some info i grabbed off of the psp to post

The default OFW is v4.20

PSP serial is PSP3001

Can I modify this? if so can someone link me to a tutoriakl that actually works.

I use to use the universal unbricker located right below

If anyone is wondering i use this to convert the battery into a pandora, if 300 is moddifyable will this still work?

you can only get chickhen with custom firmware enabler/5.03gen-a

yes you can get full potential of cfw with one catch , the files stay in ram so when you take off your psp it goes back to normal.

yes it does, if your psp was hackable then you could of used recovery flasher to flash it, so you no longer need pandora and mms for hackable psp with firmware version 5.03 or lower.

yes it is mainly for unhackable mobos, hence it runs the cfw files from ram.

random access memory, directly accessible by the cpu and is volatile meaning that when you take off your psp it is cleared, so that is why chickhen comes off when you completely turn off your psp.

it works on all mobos they just have to have firmware 5.03.

well chicken's firmware is a pain to work, but on the end it's worth it google is your friend.
