I've just bought a second hand PSP 3000 (off ebay) and I'm a little worried. The system works perfectly with UMD games and the remote play with my PS3 is fine. But I've bought FFVII off of PSN and I'm not able to play it:
- First I copied the installed version of FFVII from my PS3 via USB, but when i tried to play it, it said the file was corrupted.
- I then formated my memory stick and downloaded it again direct onto my PSP, it downloaded but when it tried to install it got to 18% before saying the installation had failed.
- I then tried to copy over Crash Bandicoot from my PS3. I had done this previously to my mates PSP and it worked fine. However with mine it just said the file was corrupted, just like FFVII.
I have to admit I picked up my 8GB memory card off ebay (for £13.49), the seller had great feedback so I decided it would probably be safe. It is likely it's my memory card, is this a common problem with fakes? Or is it possible I bought a faulty PSP?
Also, to add insult to injury when trying to copy FFVII over again my PS3 didn't recognise that my PSP was connected via the USB (it did before. Even though the PSP was in USB mode. Is this a known problem?
I'm getting very frustrated. I just want to play FFVII on my PSP next week when I'm on my flight!
Any helpful replies apprecatied. Thanks.
