you probably have a bad usb chord try a different one

07-15-2009, 07:27 PM I have a fat psp with ofw 5.03 and it will not connect with my macbookpro. I connect the psp with the usb cord (its one that has the mini usb and power, dont know if that matters) and the click to enter usb connection mode. The screen changes but doesnt go past the "Please wait..." of the connection screen. I have recently became interested in psp modding and want to install cfw but i cant without being able to connect. i would also like to say that this forum is very helpful and easy for a noob to follow. Thanks in advance.
