07-21-2009, 04:23 PM Lately, many more people are thinking that the PSP 3000 can also be modded.
Is that true? they say that it can be modded, and gets the feature to play backedup games from mem. stick but it loses that feature once you turn the PSP OFF? But you can mod it easily again, once it is done just one single time completely
I'm gonna buy a PSP.
I'm really having a hard time because i'm doubting between the PSP 2000 and 3000.
What shall I do?

07-21-2009, 04:34 PM The only way you can get to play homebrew on the 3000 is by using chickHEN. You ave to load a picture multiple times and it will put firmware on temporarily. I would get the 2000 becuase it is still small but you can have m33 firmware.

07-22-2009, 04:15 AM It really makes no difference when comparing the newer 2000 models to the 3000 as they both have the v3 MOBO. The older models of the Slims are recommendable as they can install Custom Firmware.

when you goto the store just ask to look at the psps before you buy them they cant tell you NO especially if its a used psp
and look for special editions ones because they are all hackable except madden one , thats what i did i bought a god of war one and a star wars one and gave one to my bro and kept the other one

The last digit (the 1) is just the region code. It has nothing to do with firmware or hardware version or anything.psp 2001 is definately the one you want

so either get a 1000 or a darthvader or daxter psp those are all fully hackable 2000's.
