My friend got me a 4gb mem stick pro duo from CVS and I put it in my PSP that is off and I turn it on and all i get is a black screen, all the lights turn on but the screen stays black. If i put in a different card it works perfectly fine. If i put the Lexar card in while the psp is already on it says no mem card is inserted and the orange light on the left blinks continuously. I tried putting it in my computers card reader and it wont read the card but does read my other cards. I tried it in other PSPs and it does'nt read in any of them. Is there a way to fix this? It's brand new!

The only way to fix this is changing it for a working one.. that pro duo is damaged.

either that, or the memory stick is a fake one... it happens sometimes if you buy them off the internet...
