Topic, plus following:
Both are 3000s, the other person uses Chickenhen(sp?), both wlan switches are on, both are set to the same channel...
But when we connect to the same lobby, we can't seem to see or find each other.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

are they both set on the same channal? thats usaly the problem, atleast for me on most games

Yup, as stated, already on the same channel.
oh, dident see that, bit off right now.
you can try other ad hoc games and if theres the same result, it may be ether chickhen cant do this(idk about that) or theres a communication error

I have a similar problem with 2 1000's. Both have wifi switched on, neither can see the other in the game lobby. Im running 5.00m33-6. I've got a feeling they might have done something that makes it require a more recent firmware to work.
PES09, same psps, no problem working ad-hoc, so its not the cfw.
No other ad-hoc games to try, and my brother says he did it at his friend's house, so I don't THINK it's chickhen
the problem i had was almost the same, 2k on 1k, i had to fix the nand to get it to work, that might be what you need to do.
k then do this on both psps
go to the games tab in xmb
go to the icon that says "game share" or some shit
press X on it and tell results.

Give me a few, my brother's on his PSP for now.
It's...not doing anything except for just searching. no error message or anything. It's AS IF I have two incompatable systems or some such, if that helps, 'cause they just do not notice each other.

I can't seem to find the cord that will let me download music or photos or anything right now, so is there anything else I can try in the mean time?
