batery dead

Hi. My psp slim 200 batery dead and without the batery my psp often shut down and a lot of mistakes comes out for example i cant write wep key or cant go out of game with home button becouse in home menu my buttons dont work. and i cant install custom firmware because it need 78% of battery.

So any 1 can sujest something? or if i buy new batery then all bugs fix it self?

borrow a battery, reinstall your firmware, see if that fixes it, if it does buy a new battery
