Hey guys! I am new here and this is actually my first post.
I have a PSP Phat 1000 (running 5.00 m33-4) and even if I have no issue running ISO's & CSO's, listening to music, watching videos or running homebrew apps... I can't get my internet browser to work!
Everytime I access my PSP I go to: Network Settings > then I input manually all info regarding my conneciton > Test Connection. After all this... it says I am connected and signal strenght is 100%... however... when I get out from the Network Settings and go to my Internet Browser... nothing is displayed.
So... I go to Address Entry... this way I can write through the on-screen keyboard the site I want to go to but..... the keyboard will not get displayed... the PSP remains blocked with the browser in the background and it shuts down by itself! Any ideas?
Is this a firmware issue or can it be related to some messed up settings? Could it be also related to the fact I have 2 applications installed: AutoStart Configurator and Book NR?
Any help would be extremely appreciated!!!
PS: For all which understand about the CFW subject: what is the difference between having m33-4 to m33-6? Is there anyhing better and why should I update my PSP?
Thank you already...
im running 5.00m33-6 and dont have ne problems gettin online try updating. the ps stsore however will not letu on without a the ofw 6.00 update...it suxs i no.

Well, it's the most stable... I would upgrade.
u should updae and if the problem still presists then u should reflash ur psp

I concur, update to 5.00m33-6 it's the latest, we just have to wait for DA to update the firmware to 6.00M33... 6.00 could have PSN.

I do think that since DA is too quite, by the time 6.00m33 comes out, psn will require a higher update....
Also, is there a way to get the SensMe from 6.10 ofw on 5.00m33-6?
Hey guys! Finally did it! Updated to 5.50 Gen D2 and everything seemed to be working fine... however I got another issue. As according to the Forum Policies... I will need to make another Thread and not continue with a secondary issue on this one... so whenever someone which is a PSP expert can help... please do so and take a look at the new thread titled: "Pandora Battery Gone Wrong!? PSP green led only!" Thanks to all your suggestions for this issue though!!! Regards.
