ok so i was playing around with a universal remote program and my psp froze up and shut off .......i tried dumping the nand and re-installing 3.71 m33-2, using the pandora battery and magic memory stick........BUT when i go to install the 3.71 m33-2 it stops at "formating flash0" and stays there. when i go to turn on the ps only the green light comes on nothing else .....
So the question here is ....is my psp fried ????? should give up on trying to revive it ???

Dumping the NAND is dangerous. Was it your NAND backup or someone else's?

If you restored someone else's, you pretty much messed up your NAND. You need a NAND key cleaner.

The reason it's stuck is because the NAND is messed up because you most likely restored a different PSP's backup.

You'll need another PSP with custom firmware (possibly a friend's?) and you'll need a Pandora's battery (if your friend has a modded PSP, you can make one and change it back to normal afterwards): [GUIDE] Installing Despertar del Cementerio v8 - Full Nand/IDstorage Recovery
