12-24-2009, 03:15 AM yep thats me! i new psp owner (hanna montanna purple edition!!!) ive heard so many stories over the internet about this little device and thought its finally time i gots one for myself so i have a couple of questions!
1> the system software
is 5.50 and is a 3000 series is it true that i need 5.03 firmware in order to hack it or is there a way i can go backwords with the firmy
2> i really only want to do is put movies, music and a nintendo or playstation emulator on it how would i go about doing so? do i need some kind of program to put the movies and music on?

Yes sorry to say your PSP is not getting CFW....as of now you need 5.03 on the newer models......but hey atleast you got a psp......

12-24-2009, 05:19 AM it will flashback to 5.00 m33, but you need homebrew enabled by a hen, and a hackable psp otherwise you got a perma brick.
