    Hey guys!

I'm a little confused, I want to hack my psp 1003. I was wondering, I was look at the guide to install the Custom Firmware 5.50 Update 4 package however I was wondering ... DO I NEED a Pandora Battery Pack to be able to install this if I have a PSP fat 1000?

I'm a complete newb to this mdoding stuff, first ever psp, had a GP2X which I created my own games for because of its open platform, but now I wanna try my hand at this psp modding business hehe.

SO....... What do i gotta do exactly? Do I definitely need a pandora battery to install this firmware (because from what I understand from other sites, I only need pandora battery if my PSP is the 2000+ model, which it aint), please clarify.....

    Many Thanks Guys!
    G

Yeah I'll probably have to like ... one question before I sleep ... I have ordered a 8gb micro sd with a micro sd hc -> pro duo dual converter, will I be able to use this to install the firmware?

I mean from what I understand, when i download that file for my PHAT, I simply drag n drop it to my Memory Card? Then stick it in the psp?

    That right?

Can you clarify if Im wrong please .... cos that's got me a little baffled too. Not sure how I start these files off, whether they gotta be on the pro duo memory stick (which in my case is a pro duo adapter with micro sd hc 8gb card in it -- gotta 4gb version too for my n95 I cud use if the 8gb is too big)
