PSP wifi connection

I have the new htc touch 2 from sprint and there is software that turns my phone into a wifi hot spot. Its called wifi router a friend of mine got his ipod connected to it but for some reason when I try to scan for the wifi in my psp it cannot find it. I dont know if anyone has tried somthing like this. This program also allows laptops to connect to it. Any help would be great. Thanks

I tried downloading that program and it wouldn't work on my phone, it wasn't letting me open the program.

hi.. guys... my friends r using Mobile phones as wifi device.. so they can browse ipod and laptops... but if i try to connect my psp 1001 ... not able to connect... i tried with scan wifi sniffer.. its showing in LIST tab... but its not showing psp new connections.... how to connect my psp into my mobile wifi spot. help me..

if you know the Exact SSID its puttin out you can try to Manually Setup the connection
