Alright I'll try and explain as much as I can.

I bought a already modded psp battery from 1 of my friends. Ok it doesn't act like a Pandora Battery it runs normal. So i tried to make it into a Pandora Battery by using pandora Creator programs. Each one of them everytime i tried to create a pandora battery it would say something already exists. So i think that means it's already modded. So i just need to know is the battery non moddable now or is it that he turned the pandora battery to normal and I can't change it back. If ANYONE can help me I will be MUCH thankful.

    1. what type of psp do you have? not all can softmod batteries.
    2. if you have no memory card inserted, pull the battery and replace it, does it power on automatically?? if not, it's not a pandora.

i also have a few options how to softmod in my Gen guide, 2nd link in my sig...hellcats would be your best bet. install hellcats, also in my guide, open it and it'll auto detect the battery state.

if it says "make normal"...it's a pandora
if it says "make pandora"...it's normal

If that doesn't do anything, your friend most likely has one of the newer Slims that cannot write the EEPROM data to the battery.

Buy a modded battery off of Dealextreme, or modify your own. I personally suggest the latter especially if you have a spare battery. Its not as dangerous as everyone makes it out to be, and it cuts off a 2 week wait with something you already have handy. As long as you don't try to modify it with a Chef's knife or something of the like, you will be fine.
