Hey all,
New to this whole hacking scene. Friend gave me his PSP-1000 and I've been looking at how to hack this thing for about 2 days now... I'm at OFW 5.50 and I have no idea how to get anything to work, lol. It's driving me insane. I've looked up a lot of guides and it just must be really confusing to me on a lot of the terms used. I don't know if I need to find a way to downgrade my OFW to something lower and then update using a CFW somehow or what.
Any sort of help or advice that anyone can offer? Oh, by the way, it came with a 32mb memory card, which I'm looking at upgrading, cuz well, 32mb is tiny.
Thanks
Edit: Oh and I have looked around quite a bit. Maybe not hard enough, but I really haven't been able to find something that explains to me, at my current position where I should start.

Kinda gathered that. I'll work on that.
hi guys,i went on youtube and follwed each and every step in making a pandora psp slim bettery.i cut line 19 but wen i put it in my psp 2003 it didn't show a green light.i have tried that sevral times but it still the same.help me out guys i really need a pandora bettery i want to hack my psp 2003
there are later 2nd generation slims (psp-200x series) which cannot make pandora battery. sony changed the ipl and idstorage of the newer batteries to disable this pb feature. there is a list of psp model number and whether they can make a pb here in the guides section.
otherwise, if you have a slim which can make a pb, then i guess we can assume you might have stuffed up the original psp battery?
