06-19-2010, 05:33 AM heyy guys i have a psp 2002 with the updated 5.03?? firmware? that i want to hack.
if i cut the battery part am i able to use the battery after or do i have 2 have another 1? what memory card do i need? whats the latest firmware out?
if i do the hack and want to play a new game that requires an update what happends? is there any thing that can go wrong and if it does what happends?

06-19-2010, 05:56 PM damn thats a lot of questions, the latest CFW (custom firmware) is gen-d3 which will run any new game, you cant reuse a pandora battery that is hardmodded as a normal battery you will need another, any MS (memory stick) that has above 256mb will work just fine. YES, something can go wrong in making your pandora, you ruin your battery and cant use it ever again, you have to buy a new battery which will cost a good amount of money, thats why i and others recommend you buying your own battery, although making one is not hard, if you dont feel up to making a pandora dont try

06-20-2010, 08:39 AM You're on 5.03, just follow the first guide in my sig. Pspident will tell you which motherboard you have, if your board is unhackable, you'll continue with that guide. If it's hackable, you'll move to the second guide in my sig for installing cfw.
You can always patch games to run on your cfw. If your psp is unhackable and you go beyond 5.03 firmware, then you can never have cfw again. If it's hackable, then you can go back and forth; although there's no reason to do so.

ok noob talk plz how do you mean patch i know what patch is but just dont get it im pretty sure i have n unhackable 2k im just about to buy a memory stick (i never got 1 with my psp) all i want to know is can and how to play new games on the chickhen fw, is chickhen the latest and will it play 5.50 games?

06-21-2010, 06:02 AM You can run pspident while on ChickHen, so you'll have to get that running first. Latest temporary cfw (Hen cfw) is 5.03 Gen-C, it's the same as 5.50 Gen-D3 and it'll play the newer games, some will have to be decrypted though. If you want to know how to decrypt them just search the forums or google.
You'll be able to play from the umd or from the memory stick (After you've ripped your iso from your umd).

06-26-2010, 01:35 AM hey so i finally have got my pandora battery and memory stick, i downloaded the chickhen fw, i followed the steps o putting it on the memory stick but my problem is that after i put the battery in the green light comes on but nothing else happends i have tried the l and r buttons is there something else im missing thanks
