Downgrading & General Queries!

Ok first off I want to apologise, you've all probably been asked this a lot before.

But I read the noob guides, & read the "what not to ask" thread so I'm not being completely ignorant and screaming for help.

So! I dug out my psp today (One of the very first ones, a psp 1000/fat) havn't used it in a long time & realised theres a lot of possibilities for it, so decided I want in on the fun.

Unwittingly I turned it on & downloaded the latest firmware (Should know better, jailbreaking my ipod was a pain due to the same mistake)

So my questions;
Is it possible to downgrade from 6.30 without a pandora battery?
Is a pandora battery any use without a MMS?
Where are the best places online to buy a Pandora/MSS (I'm from the UK)
Whats the best firmware to downgrade TO?

1 no you will need a pandora and mms to downgrade from 6.30 all 1000 are hackable

Thanks for the quick response! Appreciate your helpful answers, just one question, how quick is dealxtremes delivery to the UK? (It's a USA based company right?)
And I can't seem to find a link for an MMS on their site, am I just being useless with the search button?

They drop ship from Hong Kong. Not positive about the uk, but i'd say maybe 2 weeks maybe less.

All you need is a MS, then you can make your own mms, you can use the second to last link in my sig and just follow the readme.txt that it comes with (Very simple), or you can use Rain's MMS Maker for 5.00m33-4 (You can download it form psp-hacks.com)

something like a 1 GB (you could go lower capacity) genuine memstick will make your mms. 'genuine' as in it has magicgate feature...
