Did you buy this 8 gig stick on eBay by any chance??

I just bought an 8gb sony pro duo, but when I plug the psp into pc it says it needs to be formatted. I formatted it on the psp, but the pc still says it needs to be formatted. So no big deal, except that when I try to format on the pc, it only recognizes it as a 3.52gb and the formatting drop down menu can't change size or format type, it's stuck on fat32.
Any ideas on how to get it recognizing the correct size?

07-07-2010, 11:23 AM trying to install cfw without a pandora battery. I only bought the psp today so i need to plug it into the pc to put on chickhen and all that jazz. Since the psp recognizes it properly then I suppose it must be a pc problem so I'll try asking around on some pc forums.

07-07-2010, 11:40 AM It's on 2.71 at the moment. If i need to update it, since i've got a phat I can update it officially and still be able to mod it yeah? I've got a 32mb mem stick as well, but i don't think thats big enough for all the cfw software.
*EDIT* Ok I've used the 32mb stick to instal cfw 5.00 and then formatted the 8gb. It's working now. I assume it must have been something to do with the 2.71 firmware. Thanks for all your help Guapo! *EDIT*
