No, the only thing you can do is run Half-Byte Loader, the software exploit that you reference in your link. Doing this allows you to play a few emulators and that's about it. You'd have to stay on 6.20 in order to use this.

I got my PSP 3000 today (slim and lite) This is my first PSP and I have no idea what im doing! \the only experience of hacking I have is a drivekey in my wii and an r4 for my ds.
The psp has software version 6.20
What exactly would hacking it involve? Ive read about pandora batteries and magic memory sticks but i dont really understand, is that even compatible with the 3000?
EDIT
Just been browsing the web and found this: How to “hack” PSP 3000/GO Firmware 6.20 or below « How to hack PSPs
Will that work?

Okay so this half byte loader, what can it do? is it capable of playing psp isos?
No.

No PSPiso for you!
Buy your games Mrs. Behave (or mister. I cannot believe I used such a terrible pun)
Don't flame the lady now. :P
No, I've been on the web all day, a PSP 3000 will not play LEGITIMATE BACKED UP copies of games, nor PSX classics, or anything like that. As they said, it only plays a few emulators.
Don't bother with it, if you want multiple games, get a couple PS Network cards and buy Capcom Classics Collection, Sega Genesis Collection, and Namco Museum Collection.
Thanks for your help everyone. I'll be going on a psp game shopping spree tomorrow then!
Not that I was planning on getting the games from anywhere else...haha
nice save
