psp 1001, i made a bad mistake

i'm a complete noob to psp. just bought one on craigslist, the psp 1001. i just updated it to version 6.31, big mistake, correct?

i will be buying a usb cord today.

what do i need to do to be able to play games such as mortal kombat trilogy?

any sincere help would be greatly appreciated.

Fats can always be hacked. goku2778 has the ultimate noob stick under his sig. highly recommend it.

And as far as trilogy is concerned your best bet is the psn because the klown ported version only works on older cfw.

I prefer to get psx eboots and isos ported by him actually.

Never had a problem with any of his work. I Just can't compress a couple of his isos into cso with out the game going to mush.

I am about to get a 32gb stick so that won't be a problem any more.

What mk trilogy? It only works on older cfw. I tried running on earlier versions of pops and no luck. That's the only one that didn't work for me
