I have an PSP1001 PHAT i have a pandora hybrid battery and i made a mms using the guide here software-firmware-plugins/64877-all-my-guides-now-one-link.html#post579163 and i downloaded the NEW all in 1 pre made mms root.

With this software i created an mms then installed 5.50 GEN-d3

    THEN

Downloaded AND Installed the updated Prometious 5.50-4!

this is where i get lost!!! i go to download a emulator or a homebrew game and i get a reocurring error game/file corrupt (in that ball park).

What do I do? Please Help

ok...i pm'd you back but now i know what you're having problems with

did you set your umd iso driver back to m33 or the sony driver via select button on main psp xmb??? if not, do that...

2nd, are you installing emulators or homebrews that have 2 folders with the same name but 1 has a % symbol in it?? if so, that's for 1.5 kernels and 5.50 does not support that...not a big deal, you need the more up to date emulators for 3XX kernels or anything made for a slim psp.

post back, give me more details

my bad I looked at the other thread and I think I poed some people! anyway the answeres are..

yes the umd iso is set to m33

yes the homebrews and emulator do come with files that have two or more files with % signs. I found them on this forum under downloads, Psp then under homebrews and also emulator. none of them work!
my question is still did I install the software correctly and what will my next step be do I need to use chickhen or any of the other utilities on your all in one mms file?

Thank You for Your Help And Im sorry for asking stupid questions I just have no knowledge of what im doing.

sorry man...not around much on weekends with the weekend job in the city. got your pm's though...

you need the updated emulators like i said...that's all, try any of these, install the emulator/s of choice into your GAME folder. you should be fine with any of these...just copy and paste your roms from the emulators you already have into the rom folders for the updated emulators:
