Sony to Price the PSP2 aka NGP at $300 – $350
Sony has lifted the veil of its PSP2 aka NGP portable gaming console last week at the company’s press event in Tokyo, but details about the are yet to be shared. The NGP was last rumored to come with a $300 price tag, now a new set of rumors said that the SONY NGP will retail for two different prices.
The Wi-Fi only model of the NGP will reportedly cost $300, while the Wi-Fi and 3G version will set you back $350.
This is all just speculation for now, but given the company’s history of console launch price, it’s best not to expect Sony to price the NGP too low. Keeping that in mind, the $300 price seems reasonable and the actual price may not veer too far from it. Sony will also be keen on not setting the price too far from Nintendo 3DS, which will retail for $250.
Will you be interested in getting the NGP at $300? For that sum, you will get a powerful gaming machine — as powerful as the PS3, says Sony — that is powered by a quad-core Cortex A9 processor, PowerVR SGX543MP4+ graphic chips, 5-inch OLED display, GPS, dual analog sticks, a rear touchpad and tilt-sensitive 6-axis controls.
Very nice, still expensive though....
like i said, NOT as powerful as ps3. it runs a mgs4 cutscene at 1/3 the speed at a resolution midway of 480 and 720p, which gives it like 1/10 of the power the ps3 has.

Still worth it if you ask me.
Can't wait!![]()
Mobile isn't ever going to be as good but if it can be 1/3 a house gaming devise thats good enough.![]()
