As my title says my PSP 3000 is a little messed up (unusable). It turns on, but only when plugged in to a charger. The battery isn't connected according to the battery information, however the orange charging light does turn on. After a few minutes the psp turns off no matter what you do, even in the psp menu, and when plugged in by usb. Once it shuts down the charger cord must be unplugged and plugged back in to work. That's about all the problems. My sytem is a psp 3000, firmware 6.35 hacked to 6.35 pro-b. Please help.

Sounds like your battery is bad. Why dont you take your battery out, plug in the AC charger and try using it that way. If you dont have any problems for say......30 minutes, then your battery is probably bad
