fake battery?

okay i bought this from ebay for relatively cheap
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
its a psp battery but the markings on it differ only in that on the back mine says 3600mah and i was wondering if this thing is a damned fake it was only 5 bucks and the seller had a great reputation so i had hoped it wasnt a fake but if it is meh what concerns me is the fits son psp 110 that just doesnt look right to me idk ill let you guys decide so far it has a great charge an hour of play and im only at 88% from a full charge reading 5 hours and 31 minutes of gameplay is there any specific program that could let me test the batteries strength perhaps? idk just asking for advice

On ebay if it was a Real Sony Battery the seller would have it listed as a GENUINE Sony Battery or OEM Battery. He would have also shown a picture of the front of the battery showing the sony logo
on it. The ad didn't look all that great either because he listed it as for SONY CAMERA or something like that. I might be wrong but I don't think Sony ever used that battery pack with a camera. Also if they use the words For sony or works with sony products its not a real battery.

aye its a fake 1200 mah charge im gonna chuck it in the bin oh well i didnt lose that much so im not really all that mad

you could still use it as a backup battery. and the most obvious thing pointing to it being a fake is the sticker on the back of it in the pic of the link you posted says, fits son-psp-110. the sony batteries dont say that they fit son-psp-110. if it works it works, id say use it till it dies.

absolutely. Also sony doesnt market 3600mAh battery for psp
