is PRO B-5 will not cause any harm in my psp? i've read some forums that this may "brick" my unit.

he might as well update to the latest lite cfw 6.60 LME 1.4 as both are temporary
and he would have to update to it someday
6.60LME-1.4 - Downloads - Sony PSP MODS and Hacks Forums
6.60 OFW - Downloads - Sony PSP MODS and Hacks Forums
first update to ofw 6.60 ME
extract the LME 1.4 and copy the installer and launcher to GAME folder of psp mem stick.
run the installer and then the launcher

no need to worry about the mobo of your psp.
This is a lite cfw and will work on any psp model.
if you shutdown your psp then just run launcher again to be back on cfw
