Well, does it? Going down to the Disc Replay next week, looking to either get a PSP 1000 or PSP Slim. Only problem is, I'm not that confident that I'll be lucky enough to pick out a PSP Slim that has the right motherboard.

So what do you think, PSPmod forums? Is the difference that noticeable between the better pixels/more RAM in the PSP slim? Or is it negligible?

Come to think of it, if the store has any used Limited Edition models, do they have the correct motherboard that I need? Called today asking about prices, pretty sure the guy said they had a God Of War psp.

yeah, the ram difference does matter buddy. Due to the lesser ram on the phat، the loading time for games is much more compared to the slims or brites. Some emulators and homebrew even refuse to work, due to the lesser ram. I say, if you can get your hands on a hackable slim، its the best psp currently. Even more better if you can get the original slim as it can softmod a battery, but its very rare.

Any way to tell if a Slim will have a good motherboard? Or any way to tell if the slim is an original?

Thanks very much, sir. And thank you again for your amazing PSP Guide. You've been very helpful.

I actually saw a similar guide (most likely copy pasted from the above one) on a similar site. Looked through the serials of the used 2000s while the clerk behind the counter tried to tell me that all psps were fully hackable. Got one with a serial below 21600000.

Again, thanks for all your help!

could you tell me the url of the site where you saw a similar guide to my guide?

and you are welcome, and if you've got any more problems, make sure to post up on PSPMOD and not the other crappy sites.

My apologies, I worded that wrong. Was saying that I found a duplicate of slowman's "How to see if your PsP is hackable.". Will go track down that site again, sleep first though.

And I'll absolutely post here. Thanks again!
