I have a PSP 2000 like this one, and here are the specs:
Firmware: 5.00 M33-6
My problem is that for some reason some converted videos will not play on the system. It either says the data is corrupt, or the video cannot be played. I can play the video fine on my PC, but once copied over to the psp, it will not play. The first time I was using a FAKE 16 GB card, and I read that if a file is over a certain size, it may not play...so I switched to a card which I knew was a genuine card and I am still having the problem. I have tried several converters, and I always have the same problem. Kind of getting tired of waiting two hours for conversion only to be disappointed. Does anyone know what else I can try? Thanks in advance for any help offered.
Hey Bro . There are various formats for mp4 files. Some mp4 files will work fine on PC but they will not work on PSP. You should use a converter that is designed specifically for PSP. I recommend " Sothink video converter" . It has an option for PSP video conversion . It has free version and whats more it is the best converter for PSP videos I've ever used. It can convert a full DVD movie to PSP format in around 25 mins and a 5 minute video in about 1 minute.
thanks

I found one called WinX PSP Video that worked good.
