Need to send in my psp under warranty, but It's running CFW

The only problem with it is the screen, one line of pixels going horizontally across it has gone out. I'm pretty sure this is not the CFW's fault, ( if anything, I think it was because of the crappy screen cleaner I used )

So If I send it in ( after reformatting the system and memory card ) there won't be any issues?

Sony can't detect that I installed the CFW right?... I think that would be bad

No, they cannot, just install OFW and you'll be good, be aware though, they install the latest and greatest Sony Firmware when you send it in.

I was already running 6.60 when I put the CFW on... is there a more recent one? will this make it unhackable?

If that is the case, then I will just pay for a new screen from sony

no there isn't any new ofw from sony...so you wont have any problems.

Well it turns out Sony Won't replace it. I have no warranty. I expected it to be like nintendo and just come with one! oh well.

I called amazon ( who sold it to me) and they gave me 15$ for my trouble!

I'll just get a new screen and fix it myself. I have a case mod coming in the mail any day now, so I have to open it up anyway.
