Buying a Perfect PSP in India?

I am looking forward to buy a PSP in India. But recent news is that PSP 3000 is archived by Sony in India! And I see that it is still available in other countries like US and European Countries!

The current model of PSP is E1000 which AFAIK is not so good as the 3000. So, I want to ask is there a reason to buy E1000.

And, Everyone is specifying that the PSP E1000 will not return if it hangs. Is it true that PSP hangs frequently if it is used in CFW?

[WiFi for me is also important but its okay without it!]
