5.00 m33-6 to 6.60 me 1.8

I recently found my old psp in my closet and checked if there was any new cfw since I haven't used my psp in ages and wanted to to upgrade to 6.60 me 1.8
I found a video on youtube with instructions and even a download link and followed that video but it keeps failing and says error (dr something)
I tried to look up a solution some say I should remove the seplugins folder, I did that but still didn't work can someone please help me upgrade from 5.00 m33-6 to 6.60 me 1.8 (or anything else better)?

What exactly is the error that your getting?

The System Configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be started. Contact Technical support for assistance. (DRNFFFFFFCD)

Your going to need to do a IDStorage fix on your PSP via a pandoras/MMS combo. Are you by any chance in the US?

I have no clue how to do that. Yes, I am in the states but using a japanese psp fat I don't think that matters tho?

Your going to need a pandoras battery and a magic memory stick(MMS) that uses DC8(despertar del cementario v8) to fix your IDStorage. Before you do that, try enabling "fake region" in recovery or if you want, you can send it to me and I'll fix it all up for you

I do not have pandora battery or magic memory. Enable fake region to which region? Is there no other way besides pandora and mms?

Enabled fake region to america and it still didn't work. Sent PM
