I thought I should share these with everyone with the flickering screen problems , bubbles attack or elevator boss fight where the screen becomes blue red green lines.

1st of all, FF7 doesn't run well in 3.30/3.40OE-A. Recommended FW is 3.11.

If you dont want to downgrade, like I did, well, there is an alternative: Popsloader.

    Get the easypopsloader here.

Installation are made for dummies, so you will breeze thru it. After that, you can emulate 3.11 on your 3.30/3.40OE-A and your ff7 should run fine.

    Heya,
Does anyone know of a fix for the save-games not loading? I've gotten pretty far in, and really cannot be bothered to start again lol :P
However, if you can't find a fix, I'll probably just continue as it is.

If you don't see the save-game when you load a new disc, it is because the Game ID and Save-game TITLE is different. This can be fix with either Simple Popstation GUI or PSX2PSP. You just have to ensure that all discs Game ID and Save-game Title are the same.

In other case, if you can see the save-game and yet it cannot be load. I have totally no idea. I am guessing the saved file is corrupted or something.

Hmm.. Does the problem in the Red XIII part only occur with certain enemies? If so, you could figure out which enemies it is that causes it to crash and run away from them. That's what got me past the 1st disk :P

And I'm not sure why, but even after renaming the Save IDs and names, my saves didnt show up still. But I managed to run away, and defeat enemies before they had a chance to use their moves, all the way to the end of disk one! Though, it was VERY hard at some points.. Im looking at you Yuffie!
