Hi, Ive been using 3.03OE-C and a couple of days a go I started playing chrono cross at the recomendation of a friend. It worked fine for the first part of the game, except for one crash, which I was abile to get past after replaying it.
The problem im having now, is the game has started to crash every time I try to recruit, the fairy after the octopuss boss. Ive tried replaying this part 5 times, and did vairus little things like changing charicters, going to the map screen and back, and also changing my elements.
I figure that im stuck, and Ive already looked up the problem on the internet. I read that changing the firmware to one of the newer versions will help, but just change where the game starts to crash. Any information about this would be helpful.
So ive came to the conclusion that the only way to get past this is to play the part in an emulator.

I have CW Cheat v0.1.7 and have tried to use the save memory card option more than once and epsxe sees it a a blank card every time. Is there a special way to do this? Am I using the wrong version of CW Cheat?
Are there special options in epsxe to make this work?

Any help would be appreciated. This has been a real good game and I dont want to miss out.
