Hi there, I've just transfered all my data to the second disk of Final Fantasy 8 and CWCheat does not work on the second disk. I tried the first disk and it works. The first disk has the Game ID "SLUS_00892", The second disk has the game ID "SLUS_00908." It says the game ID on top of the CWCheat menu, when you hold Select. I dont think CWCheat can reconise it beacue it has no cheats. Does anyone know how to get the cheats up in FF8 disk 2?

P.S: If I change the Game ID to SLUS_00892 would the cheats be there, If yes, what program would I use?

    Thanks in advance =]

There are two things you can do.....

    1) Download icetea1.3_win it can Extract the Iso of a PSX game from the Eboot then using the same program to make a new Eboot but this time change the GAME ID.

    2) Use CWcheat Database Editor v1.71 To copy the PSXcodes from the OLD GAME ID into the NEW GAME ID or just change the GAME ID of the codes but then they won't work for Disc 1. That is why it is better to create four code files with the four different IDs

you dont create your own cheat list what you need to do is edit the popcheat.db file in your psp and just change the GAME ID to what ever you need it to be

    hope this helps
