Noob friendly notice, please read! My comp has been down for quite some time, so i am not very active on this forum, I however still get pms from people all the time asking me if i can help them hack there psps. Look, I dont want to be rude or anything, but here is what you need to search for, pandoras battery, and magic memory stick. Search for those 2 things and you will find out everything you need to about hacking the psp, it is quite simple...so, in conclusion.....SEARCH!!!!

oh, and you do need to have hacked, or cfw (custom firmware) to run emulators.

A lot of slim psp owners have been on lately with emulator problems...believe it or not I was in your shoes last week. The answer to your problems is that you need 3.xx compatible emulators...the fat guys can get away with the 1.50 emulators because...well, we slim owners cant run 1.5...hence why we need 3.xx compatible emulators...anyways here is a link to a 3.xx emulator pack, it comes with prolly every emulator you could want...and they work for the psp. Except the n64 emulator works poorly...hahha!!! 3xx_Emu_pack.rar - FileFront.com

I mostly play nes, snes, and gba games on my psp....oh man...so many nintendo titles on a sony system is scary.

Just a little Note..Team Noobz released a version of eLoader that allows slim owners to run some 1.50 Kernal homwbrew.

From everything I have heard/read 1.50 is possible, but it takes a lot of work with very little gain. It seems like it is easier to just find 3.xx compatible homebrew, that, and to be honest...from what I have seen 1.5 is on its way out the door with the fat...as sad as that sounds.

just download WinRAR from WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files its free and easy, plus it works with a lot of files, plus the ones on linux (*.7z, *.tar.gz)

ps1 emulater is built into m33 cfw. If you want to know what the individual emulators are you have to go into the read me files in each folder and try to figure it out....least that is what I did before I put the emus I wanted on my psp.

No, you need CFW...that is like almost the whole point of cfw.

do a search for pandoras battery and magic memory stick, or mms for short. There is very very little chance of bricking a psp upgrading to cfw. The pandoras battery is like the anti brick...or something.

What about for SNES and GG? I've heard good things about Masterboy, so I'd like it to work.
