Heh... maybe in the next generation of Sony portable gaming devices. How much are you willing to bet that Sony will creatively call it the "PSP2"?

Nah i think itll be called the "PST"- Playstation Tiny.
just keeps getting slimmer and smaller.
And a ps2 emu on the PSP would rock -san andreas, Woo!
    but never gonna happen unfortunately.

    lmao...

I dont think a ps2 emulator will exist any time soon on the psp2 either (unless sony makes one for us, they are pretty good at that, lol). The pc-based ps2 emulators are still pretty crappy. The only ps2 emulator that works is hard-coded into the 80gb ps3.

Either way, a ps2 emulator on a psp sounds out of reach.
It would be to expensive for sony to go down that road...
The ps3 does not even emulate the ps2 that well, its very laggy at times.
But it would be a day for the history books if someone could do it.-eventually it might happen.

Why can't people ever seem to understand that emulating a completely different system requires a clock speed about ten times higher than the system being emulated? Not to mention that the PS2 outputs at 640x480 and the PSP's screen is only 480x272. N64 is most likely the most advanced system the PSP will ever be able to emulate. If you really want to play PS2 games on your PSP, petition for ports or something.

I don't people don't know how to use google, per se, I think it's more the fact that people are too lazy to use it.
