    i made my ff7 disc 2 eboot, but screwed up typing the game save id because it wont recognize my game save. I had erased my iso before i checked to see if the eboot worked (because im an idiot) and it takes forever to make an iso on my crappy old cd drive. So is there a way to change the game save id thing? Preferably without having to extract the iso and do the whole thing over again?
    Very funny....not.

    Well first of all a handy hint: Use popstation_md and make a multidisk eboot.

    But anyway, the problem at hand. Use this awesome piece of program: http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/dow...ownload&did=24

    Now, open up the program, on the PSX Image File line, click Browse and select the EBOOT you want to fix up.
    Now click the big Change Game Save and Game ID... button. Change the ID as need be, (Don't touch anything else, or it will change the things you fiddled with) and then click Go... It should "patch" the EBOOT, only changing the ID.
    That only takes like a quarter of second.
    Don't know what's up with everyone and there PSP Firmware life as there sigs, but hey, why not, I don't have any fancy quotes or shiny picture :-P

    2.80 -> 3.52 -> 3.70 -> 3.71 -> 1.50 -> 3.52 M33-4 -> 3.71 M33-4 -> 3.80 M33-5

    Downgraded and installed Custom Firmware on 4 PSPs so far...

    Dude, I FREAKING LOVE YOU.

    This was doing my nut in and you solved it for me. Now I know it was my own stupidity, I won't do it again. But this really helped. Disk 1 was nearly 21hrs 9mins of my life i would never get back! Thank you.
