hoi-yant told me an easier way. Scrap that worthless 3.90m33-2. Run 3.80m33-5, use that SCUS94640, and play... 90 can perform actions that are physically impossible for a human to do as far as I'm concerned.

Ok, I've searched this wonderful forum and google'd til i'm blue in the face, and I can't figure out my problem.
I've used psardumper to get popstations 3.51 and 3.40. I've used RS-GUI PopStationMD v. 3.00 to combine the EBOOT. I'm ripping my own copy of the game. The first time I did, the EBOOT worked fine until I tried to access the status screen (popstation 3.71 firmware issue) which froze.
The fix, of course, is the Syphon Filter 3 ID, which I've used. I re-ripped the same game and tried to load with both 3.51 and 3.40 popstation. Now, the game won't even load. I've tried in both 3.51 and 3.40 and I get the same 80000004 error. If anybody can PLEASE advise, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you all so much for your time.
**UPDATE**
I have determined that it is my 3.51 and 3.40 popstations that are in question. I ran my Chrono Cross EBOOT with 3.71 and it worked just fine. I used this tutorial http://www.pspmod.com/forums/emulati...opsloader.html to install 3.40 and 3.51, but I had used a different video tutorial for 3.71 that I can no longer find. It was a video linked to another video showing how FFVII works with 3.71. If anybody can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks again!
**UPDATE UPDATE**
The aforementioned tutorial works just fine. I was running a multi-disc eboot in 3.40 and 3.51, which is the reason for the error message. I have since applied 3.72's poploader and with Syphon Filter 3's Game Id (SCUS94640), I have a perfectly working copy of Chrono Cross thus far. I have accessed the status screen, and I will see how it goes with the Komodo Dragon boss. Hope this post helps others in the future.
