I'd advise you not to read this unless you have completed the game, or disc 2 of FF7.

Hi, I'm having a problem on Final Fantasy VII on my PSP, I'm running CFW 3.99 m33-2.
Everything was running perfectly until recently on Disc 2. The cut-scenes have run through but they have been getting noticeably choppier.

I'm currently in the Forgotten City, finding out I need Holy to destroy Meteor. Now, this is my FIRST time through the game, so please don't ruin anything for me.

Anyways, Before I came here, I found the Key of Ancients by total accident, and it just so happens I need it here. So, right after Bugenhagen starts talking, the cut-scene that triggers when you have the key automatically happens. So, when Bugenhagen places the key into the Music box, and the Water comes crashing down, I walked into it, the screen quickly faded to black, and Bugenhagen says: "It's just the screen projecting the image! Look at the screen!!" Or something along those lines, WHILE THE SCREEN IS STILL BLACK, and just stays there. I wait a little while and there's a random little buzzer that goes off.(Like when you do something wrong.) And just stays there.

I'm using the 3.90 pops loader, and I'm loading 3.72 pops.

    Help?

Thanks, I just upgraded to 4.01 m33-2. And I'm trying the 3.71 pops.

    O-shi... It's like, 1.4 times as fast...? W/e. doesn't matter.

If this doesn't work, I'll try to find a different .img file.

1.4 times as fast? I never noticed any difference myself. Although I did notice the game runs extremely choppy in 3.51 pops (I think)

It's really just the music, but it doesn't really matter.

Do you think burning it as an img file would make any difference?

Okay, I've pretty much given up.
Which really sucks because I know all I need to do is go back to Midgar, do that whole shebang bang. Then pop in the 3rd disc, which I've heard is VERY short.

Palmtree, do you think you could message me your files? I would be EXTREMELY grateful.
