Im trying to load the Suikoden 1 data in a new Suikoden 2 game so I can get all the special little things, but When I try to load from memory card It says theres no data. I figured all the saves must be in separate folders but what file exactly should I copy over to the Suikoden 2 save data from the suikoden 1 data so that it says its on the memory card?
I can imagine people must be having similar problems, maybe when switching discs in a multi disc game. How do you recover saves from the first disc to be able to load them on the second?

well i didn't kno much about that.
lolz. Yeah, I suppose it would help for game disc switchs as well, since at the end of the disc you can usually save your game and load it from the next disk. Its rather a simple process.
1. Get the game on your psp.
2. Run it once so it creates a folder in SAVES.
3. Copy the file SCEVMC0.VMP from the SAVES folder of the game you want.
4. Paste it over the newly created folder in the SAVES section.
with this method you can keep one save going throughout multi disc games. I guess you could just keep one single memory card as well if you wanted by just moving the SCEVMC0.VMP file back and forth between folder, though I dont see why anyone would wanna do that?
Yea this is my favourite game of all time. Suikoden 1 is hard to find. Amazon sold it for 50 bucks man..
I got S1 for like 10 dollars back when PSX games were on clearance. Sometimes you get lucky at gamestop. I played Suikoden 2 before the first one. I picked it up and read the back "collect the 108 stars". I never played an RPG before with so many playable characters. S2 to this day is my favorite of the series. The only one I havent played through is 3. I didnt like the feel of it, much slower and more broken up then the rest. S5 is very good though you should play that one if anything, its styled much more like s2 then the rest.
