I guess this thread been dead for a while now, but I still want to try and post my question here....
I have a problem with running FFIX on my PSP.... Well actually it runs fine, the only problem I do have is: silent cinematics (I have no sound during those CG movies).... And it is kind of a big deal for me.... Is there any solution for that would you be so kind to let me know?
    thanks.

what program did you use to convert the game to eboot?? thats a good place to start when you have problems like that...

you should check a compatibility list to see if you need to use a certain program, also you should be using the right pops for it through popsloader, also check the compatibility list for that.

without any information its hard to help. like, is it PAL or NTSC, are you running a single or multi disc eboot, what program did you use to convert to eboot, did you use the default game ID or change it (sometimes when converting you may change the ID to one which is more stable, but it will interfer with cwcheat, as cheats are loaded through the specific ID of each game)

I haven't even turned my psp on for a very long time, and don't really remember anything haha. But I did have sound in the cinematics, I remember that much.

So I am sure that it is a very simple fix, might be as easy as running it on an earlier version of pops, or as annoying as using a different converter and game ID, compression rate etc. Or maybe even acquiring a new disc image. The possibilities are endless, the best thing to do is the process of elimination. Know everything that could be wrong, continue to change one thing and test until you get it right.

    best of luck
