    Hey there,

I've been trying to play Metal Gear Solid on PSP and came across a page telling me to change to game ID to fix the lagging CODEC conversations. But I have no idea how to change the game ID and Searching these forums hasn't found anything clear.

If you could direct me to the right info about getting MGS playing correctly (and changing IDs for any other game if need be), I'd be very grateful.

    Thank you.

There is a program called changeID. It works...at least it did for me. However im not sure where to go to get a new id for metal gear. Its pretty simple though if you found the ID....you just drag the eboot file into the app then type in the new ID code in. I figured it out somehow...so im sure you could.

anywho if you dont know the game id just put it in the progam it wil show what it is. than just copy it and just make the 2nd disc the same and it should work.
this only takes like 5 seconds. but i dont remember where i got the program from (:
