Fire Emblem (gba) emulation problem

Im having trouble emulating Fire Emblem for the gba (not sacred stones), when i go into the game the framerate slows down at random parts REALLY BAD, also it freezes at some times, is it the psp?

Which emulator are you using? I recommend gpSP.

You mean...You ripped it from the GBA Cartridge right? I mean...because...that would be pirating if you didn't...So if it doesn't work trying ripping it again...Also try a newer version of GPSP.

ok, so ill try a newer version of gpSP and if that dosent work ill see if its just the cartidge...

k figured out what to do i had to switch update backup from auto to exit only. Then it dosent freeze at all.

Yes, the one with Roy. You can find the English translation patch. Now in order for me to tell you how to get the rom legally you have to message me, as I can't tell you here.
