They do have GameBoy Advance emulators on PSP, so yes Pokemon is possible. I am running an emulator and I must say it runs great. Before you get a PSP take this into consideration. Some PSPs can be hacked to play emulators (PSP phats/1000s and most PSP Slims/2000s) and other homebrew and some are harder. Make sure you get the right kind before you buy. If you are buying off the internet send me a link to the page that you are buying from and I will tell if it can be hacked or not. If not just ask the clerk at the store. All of the new ones are 3000s so if you want to easliy hack your PSP, go for a used 1000, or an older PSP 2000. For help or links to PSP Gameboy Advance emulators feel free to ask.

On my 1000 I have the latest masterboy for the gb/gbc ones and UO gpSP kai 3.2 test 8.7 (the best version of gpSP I've come across) for the gba pokemon games. All work perfectly with those emulators

Awesome, I so can't wait to tear into some old school gb games on a psp =P. I wonder, if I have the psp connectors that connect my psp to my tv could I play pokemon on my tv? That'd be so oss.

Gpsp is the best gba emulator for PSP, hands down.
