Say I'm playing an FF advance game, but want to start a new play through, at the same time, I don't want to mess with any of my previous saves.

Is there a simple way to go about this, or will I have to..

1. copy the save files and store them in a different folder. (if this will work)

or.

2. rename the original ROM, say add a 2 to the end or something, and put it in the ROM folder. (if this will work)


Haven't tried anything, because I don't want to jack anything up, thought I would ask first.
