Alfox,

try doing manually and see if theres anything readable like my picture shows, if not you'll need to DUMP your firmware. And get the file yourself decrypted.

Let me know if theres anything you can read in that file.

Yes that means is not decrypted, looks like you need to dump it,

PBPunpacker
psar dumper
Sony (Your firmware version) update.

I'll help you out with the process via PM.

Great thread Mime, in talks about stickying it since it is very benificial, and grown very popular in less than 8 hours...

1 mistake i noticed though...

3.02 OE-A is NOT compatible with PSX emulation... at least im pretty sure it wasnt available until 3.02 oe-b
lol very small tiny thing that no one really cares about since maybe 1% of people have 3.02 oe-a since 3.03 oe-c and 3.10 oe-a

Hey Justin ^^ Thanks for your words man; all to make this forum the best, and I'm open for it to be sticky if that's all right with you MODs. If you guys find it helpful and beneficial. Im good with it.

By the way Justin; 3.02 certainly has PSX emulation from its first release being 3.02 OE-A. Anything below 3.00 does not have it. Meaning 2.71 etc etc. But I agree nobody has 3.02 at the moment, maybe some but the chances are low now.

Thanks again man for noticing my effort around the forum!

psx eboots and key.bins are put inside a folder labled after the name of the game, then that folder is put in your GAME folder

PS - Mime, sorry to inform you, but that is not true lol, 3.02 oe-B had psx emulation, 3.02 oe-A did not..

^^ Hi justin,

The site is saying the new version supports psx as well, 3.03 OE-B had just the upper hand because you could back up your OWN games and do it, but with 3.02 OE-A you had to download them from SONY. Meaning you can play them but not you own backups. IT had the emulation but only from the Sony store. Which is gay; glad they came up with 3.02 OE-B..

But 3.02 OE-A does support psx.

By the way I hope you guys could do the guide ^^ Let me know if you achieved your goal who will be the first one to do it successfully ?.

well im considering stickying this, just to make sure it gets enough traffic at first... i also considered the coldboot request thread a sticky, but request threads shouldnt be stickyd since once everyone gets what they want, they do not need it anymore really.... lets see how this goes

Im glad both of us are considered 'possible to be sticked' We both agree ^^ Itd be great, theres already stupid stuff up there; I mean who cares about "Making playgear pocket skins" .... That shouldn't be sticked. I've seen some stickies that are pretty useless. We need concrete info, useful guides! not that pocketskin thing. Its just a thought, we need FRESH stuff.
