Tutorial: How to have a Customized Coldboot + PSX Emulation working at the same time
no i need the customized game-plugin.prx for 3.30oe-a because the hex editor won't install on my computer. i have a dump of 3.03oe-c and 3.10oe-a also 3.30oe-a on my computer but that messed up program won't work.
so i'd love it if someone could upload the files...

Yeah thats the reason, you cannot use the game_plugin.prx from a lower firmware on a higher firmware. Or the other way around.
Mmmm i have no idea if 3.30 has a psar dumper.. I'll check and if theres any I"ll get the file for you.
if not,
Just reflash 3.30..

this is difficult...
is the "game_plugin.prx" file supposed to be 2.5/2.6 FW or 3.03? |

game_plugin.prx needs to be from your "firmware" dump; the one firmware you have in your psp at the moment. Which means you'll get it decrypted. If you take that file from your flash0 right now it'll be 'encrypted" it'll have only gibberish and weird characters.
So if you have 3.03 OE-C now, you have to dump the firmware and get the decrypted file.

All of this is found in PSP-HACKS.com.
I helped someone doing a firmware dump in a thread, here are my posts explaning the process:

PM her the file Justin; If I just post the file the guide wont have any reason or meaning.
I want people to learn how to hex edit so they can do things like this in the future, this was the only way of changing the "psp lables" and more. Until RCO fancy tool came in sight. the knowledge is needed.
^^
