Default Tutorial: How to have a Customized Coldboot + PSX Emulation working at the same time

I DL'd the hex editor but hex scares me even though your tut makes it look easy mime. Is there someone out there that can just send me the file for 3.40 oa-e that I can just upload it to my flash? (and tell me how to do it?) Yes I am an extreme noob at this and not afraid to admit it!

ok, tryin the dump one more time. just out of curiosity (and possibly make it easier on me) will the 303 game_plugin.prx work on my 340oea firmware, or does the dump have to come from my psp firmware version? i cant get the 340 one to dump correctly. any help would be greatly apreciated

edit: nvm, finally got the dam thing to work properly. thanks for the guide mime

can i just add - none of this is needed anymore!! search posts by me, for the link to the 3.40 oe-a rcos, its a zip file and includes all the OFFICIAL sony rco's decrypted by Z33 (i think its z33 anyway)

you can edit them in RCO Editor, & there is no need for any fixes. so you can have cold boot + psx games without hex editing or anything!

infact, Re-Director thats the link for the RCO's for 3.40

all you need to do ie either 1) use the opening_plugin.rco from the zip to make your coldboot, or if you;ve already got 1, do 2) open RCO Editor, open you current coldboot file, extract all to a folder, open up the RCO from the zip, select replace multiple, find the folder you just extracted to, once its done, your done just copy the file to your flash0 as usual
